Amy was born and raised in this wonderful town of Cochrane, Alberta! She spent 5 years in Victoria BC working with the city’s most vulnerable and at-risk population in a variety of fields. She has lived abroad in Oxford England, Fuan China, and North Carolina in the US where she married her husband. She has experience in multiple fields but has focused most of her career towards helping people which brings her to the optical field! She has previously worked for Pearle Vision in Victoria, BC as well as family-owned Edworthy Vision in downtown Calgary in both administration as well as optical. She was fortunate enough to take courses from Eye Recommend and had great mentors along the way. Amy joined our clinic at Cochrane Family Vision in July 2020.
On a personal level, Amy has 3 amazing dogs! She loves to go on hikes, camping, bike rides and just staying active. She absolutely loves plants and gardening – her collection is getting out of control. She and her husband are so thankful to be back in Cochrane and look forward to one day starting a family here.

When not working, Andrew can be found flying (he’s a pilot!) around the local area and practicing his skills while he takes his Commercial Pilot training at Springbank. Andrew is a proud Dad to two young daughters and loves sharing Dad Jokes with his coworkers.
